Used in an outdoor community 4th of July celebration. I have seen the matter of size mentioned by another reviwer. Costume Discounters should unwrap some of their children's costumes and measure them, then give a physical size in inches or child's size to the costume. Just saying small, medium and large is no use. If small is still too big, buyers should know that they will need to do some alteration. I ordered medium as a guess and it was much bigger than I expected. I had to do a lot of altering. I would have ordered a small if I had an idea of what the actual size was. The hat was a real challenge. It was sized for an adult. I had to do a lot with a scissors and sewing to get it down to the required child's size. Otherwise I was satisfied with my purchase.
We needed it for a wax museum day at his school, he did not really look like Ben Franklin but close enough. I really think that it would be better if accessories were offered to buy with the purchase ie. tights, buckle for shoes. We used knee highs and they were okay. My son loves to use it as a pirate costume now with a doorag on his head. If you want really good costume to use again and again this one probably will not hold up. Does not really wash that well. I would buy again from the website. size is made big
