The costume is nice. Material is average, but decent - it's fairly thin, but could be worn over a base layer in cold climates. I'm disappointed that it runs very small. Child Large claims to fit children 8-10, 48-56" tall and 54-86 pounds. It is too small (mostly short) for my almost 9 year old who is 53 1/2" tall and weighs about 63 pounds. The legs and torso are both short. I would say it would fit up to 51" tall at the most, but it's roomy enough for a husky child.
