I bought this size/version because the other Thomas the Train costume seemed too big, even though it might have worked with the dimensions given. My 2 year old is 36" tall, weighs 26 lbs., and this version of the costume fits great. A little loose for breathing room, a plus as this costume doesn't breathe, but not too big that it would have been dragging on the floor. I almost bought the other Thomas the Train version for 3-4 year olds from another site, sooo happy I took the time to search for it on this site, and they had it in stock! As for my boy's opinion, he started to make toot-toot noises the second I pulled it out of the box.
