Out of all the Ariel costumes I came across (even the ones at Disneyland), this one was the best dress design. I originally bought this for my daughter's 4th birthday party. She is now 4.5 and is still wearing it once/wk just for fun. Unfotunately, the straps gave out after the first month and I had to stich them back together stronger. Also, the dress tends to drag without wearing heels and is most suited for warmer weather. So it's probably not an ideal Halloween costume.
