I bought this costume for my daughter who is 5 1/2 and has to dress up as a pilgrim for a Thanksgiving party at her school. My daughter is a little short for her age, but she is currently 44 inches tall. This costume is VERY cute on her, but it is also very long on her. It is AT LEAST 6 inches too long and I ordered her a small, which is a size 4-6. So, it definitely should fit her. But, I can't believe how long it is. I'll have to hem it before the party.
My daugher is very happy with this costume for Holloween and it is going to double as a period costume for an upcomming activity at school.
