The costume fit well and was very sturdy. My daughter climbed around a lot and pulled on the pieces, they did not suffer, fray or tear. The only complaint is with the headband. There is no way she could have worn the headband, even if she was three sizes smaller. We ordered a size 6-8 girls costume, but I am not sure the headband would have fit a two year-old. We just fixed her hair with a top side ponytail instead of wearing the headband.
