Daughter wanted costume that really looks like Arial with the fins. This was the only one I found and was very impressed. Very well made and authentic. She received many complements through the nigh. Will keep and use for another year.
The only issue we had with the costume was that my daughter had a hard time walking in this. But maybe it was because she wanted to RUN most of the time. Not the costumes fault. It was really cute and everyone loved it. She was the Best Ariel EVER.. But next year we are gonna make sure no long dresses.... :)
My 6 yr old granddaughter just loved the mermaid costume. She asked for a mermaid costume for her recent birthday. Just because. We found it to be well made and adorable looking in every way. It looked like a professional costume.
This is a great alternative to the disney dress which has glitter all over it. The "scales" on this dress have the sparkly look without making a mess all of the floor. While it is much bigger than I expected, I will have it altered without cutting the fabric so she can have this for years.
The costume was perfect for my 8 year old. We purchased a 10/12 however my daughter wears a 14/16. It fit her perfect. It was a little sheer but, my daughter wore a pink leotard underneath it. My daughter was the prettiest Little Mermaid out of 16 girls. We also purchased the boa and 97 cent necklace. Very cute. My daughter was very happy with her outfit. She wants to wear it for Halloween too.
I purchased this costume for my 3-year-old granddaughter who loves to play dress-up. I think she will really enjoy it.
My daughters love to put on this Mermaid costume and roam the seas (or my dining room hard wood floor)and swim under the table aka "The mermaid cave" and spy on all the "humans" in all the other rooms! Great costume and well made.
Better made than other mermaid costumes out there. You can actually walk in this one. But for the price, it is flimsy. The bottom of the skirt ripped after the first use. Still, I am glad I purchased it for my 6 year old daughter who loved using it for her school parade and for trick or treating.
This is a great Halloween costume! It's more realistic than what you can get a the Disney Store and better quality than most costumes you can get anywhere else. It does run a little big but then again, my daughter is on the petite side. They have a great exchange policy so you can't go wrong.
My grand daughter plans to wear the sostume for Halloween and then use it as with her collection of other Disney Princess costumes when she plays dressup.
