This is part of his halloween costume, I was worried it would be to big because of all the review I had previously read, but my son is 6 years old 1st grader, and althought the helmet is big, its not huge. It does not fit perfectly on him, But honestly I feel if it wore more snug, he could feel uncomfortable. I think it completes his costume, and its a toy he gets to play with from now on.
