My son paired this costume with steam punk glasses, dark gloves, and a staff. It looked great! The fabric is of good quality- not thin polyester. He wore this to a renaissance faire and a science fiction convention and received many compliments at both. He paired this with a silver skull mask and an extra cape for Halloween and stood in our yard amidst some gravestones and was quite a fright!
