Was surprised by how detailed and authentic-looking it is! The embossed designs and rivet heads look real. We are using this costume on a mannequin at a county fair kids' booth to create a knight in shining armor on a limited budget. With minor adjustments it fits the 6'2" mannequin and looks very good. Only the helmet is too small for our figure.

Great costume! My daughter was "Joan of Arc" and we just left out some of the pieces (upper legs, upper arms, shoulders) and she looked perfect. Only thing that I "changed" was ... I went out and bought some more of those self-stick velcro strips so I could make the chest piece smaller. Worked beautifully.. she got tons of compliments! Best part is, I can wear this for halloween this year! This is an excellant costume that will be able to be used for many years!

It is vacuform armor without the fuss of having to cut out all the parts and paint and assemble the parts. We reinforced the insides of all the pieces with felt and did some additional painting to get the look that we wanted... It worked out well for our needs. It is still vacuform and is a little light weight and will break or crack if you aren't careful, but reinforcement helps.
