I got a large for son who is tall and skinny and it barely fits him. The outfit overall is cute but the material for the duster is poor and it is shorter than it looks in the picture. We are also going to use a different hat, the hat that comes with it is very small and does not look good with the outfit. Besides that, my son loves the costume and can't wait to wear it. The Duster will work, but I am glad we had another hat to use.
I run a small performing arts preschool and I usually order professional costumes for my students. Western costumes proved to be a bit difficult, so I found this costume and loved it! It looks exactly as it does in the picture. Parents of my students loved it so much they wanted to know where they could purchase one. IF I had to change something I would like for the jacket to be a little thicker- more like true jacket material and less flannel shirt material.
