The sowing on this costume is done very poorly. It looks more like a curtain than a costume. It isn't so much red as it is mud brown. With a bit of work this is a passable costume but out of box it isn't very good.
I am a fan of history, so I was excited to wear this costume around campus last year for Halloween. I received many compliments for the costume, and have worn it several times since. My main complaint would be that the vest uses some kind of elastic loops to fasten, and I have yet to figure out how to put it on successfully. Also, the plastic buttons on the jacket and vest and the exposed seams on the jacket give the costume a relatively cheap look. This is plenty good for goofing around, but would not be appropriate if one were trying to be completely historically accurate.
