I ordered this for my 7 1/2 year old daughter for Halloween. The product [...] was the pattern shown in the photo listed on the website. This was great because the product description said the mfr. had changed the pattern to butterflies--we wanted the original rose/flower pattern. For the price, the costume was pretty cute. Material is a bit delicate though, so put on with caution--otherwise, it will rip fairly easily. The down side to this outfit is that it was several inches too long, so I had to pin it up all-the-way around so my daughter wouldn't trip on it during trick-or-treating. Sizing tends to run small; I ordered her the medium (8-10) and it was still tight throughout the arms and shoulders. You can't layer too much clothing underneath. Overall, I give it a good rating. My daughter loved how she looked in it, with the hairpiece and adding makeup!

I am a 2nd grade teacher and bought 23 costumes in this design. They did look small (we ordered the medium) but it fit all our 7/8 year old 2nd graders. Everyone loved the costumes (they were for a multicultural celebration). A few of the costumes did rip within an hour of wearing them. The girls did a traditional fan dance and had to move around a lot in it. Great bargain!

I purchased this as a halloween costume for my daughter. It fit her very well and she was thrilled with it. I might suggest a size larger than you normally go if you want to wear thicker clothing underneath. This item is costume or dress-up quality which worked great as a halloween costume.

This is for my 5 yr. old daughter. We bought the 7-8 size and it fits her tight. (she wears a 6X or 7)She loves it, but if it is too cold, there is not enough room to wear layers. She does not mind the butterfly pattern. It is pretty, but not what we ordered. I was a little disappointed. Good Costume for the price.
