My 9-year old wanted some renaissance dress-ups and we were pleased with this costume for the price. She loves the long flowing sleeves and the velour fabric. It has nice gold braid for decoration that makes it look authentic. It was not hemmed, so I just turned under the bottom edge and sewed it on my sewing machine to fix that and it looks great.
