This is a nice quality dress and headpiece. The "hat" is more of a headband or headwrap because there is no fabric to cover the top of your head. I am 5'3" and the dress length is a bit too long for me even in 2 inch heels, but that's no problem for my purposes. Also, I usually wear a 16W/18W in dresses. The dress fits snug (in a good way) without binding and has lots of stretch. I like it but I doubt the dress would fit larger than a size 20W despite the package advertising.

I wore it to a Renaissance Dinner-Dance. It was a bit snug around the waist for a PLUS size. Perhaps make your plus sizes less snug around the middle, we are trying to HIDE the belly, not stretch something tight across it. Otherwise, I was pleased with the costume and received many compliments on it.

I got this for my wife to wear on Halloween, and she loves it. The styling is attractive and reasonably authentic, and the fabric has enough give to fit a range of sizes. The picture accurately represents the appearance. The one drawback is that the ends of the gold ribbons shred and pull loose very easily, and some were even detached when we received the costume. Given the overall quality of the costume, it will be worth the effort of sewing on new ribbons.
