I really like the dress. Although it has some cons. There is a zipper closure on it which is definately a con, I'm 5'9 without shoes so being so tall the dress only comes to the top of my shoes it could be longer would rather it be to long than to short. It's made for a short person. Also it has pretty trim on it but they didn't put the trim going all around the bottom and for me that was a negative. So after I do the alterrations to get it right then it will be great going to take the zipper out and add on to the bottom. My mom bought this for me but I picked it out. Overall the dress is comfortable with the exception of the zipper. I didn't buy for halloween or anything I wanted it cuz I've always love the renaissance era and having searched previously online for renaissance dresses they were really expensive. This one was at a reasonable price, I love the velvet and the color. The sleeves are a bit long over my hands but that's okay better to long than to short. I will be adding custom beadwork to the sleeves and then I will make custom jewerly including a custom headband to wear when I wear the dress. It's great for date night or just any occassion doesn't have to be just for halloween.

Purchased for a medieval banquet; very pretty color and can adjust bodice to fit; the upper arms are very tight at the top and was almost a problem for me. I bought a plus size and I usually wear a size 14. The regular size would have been impossible for me to have my arms go through at the top.
