My 6 year old son loved the costume. However, the muscle chest bothered him around the neck. We put a turtle neck on him and that helped. My son is a size 6 pant and 7-8 shirt. This is a little big for him. As he grows, the muscle chest probably won't be an issue...unless he doesn't like Superman when he's older. He loves to pretend play now so we bought him a variety of costumes. We'll save this one. I would get the costume without muscles for the younger kids.
The colors of the material are really vibrant, as you can tell. It really fits him mostly well (we got a small kid size - not toddler) which I was slightly concerned about. I will say he doesn't like it to be snapped in the back; I think the neck's tight, but I can leave it open. Buying clothes of any kind online is kind of scary for me because sizes vary so much. However, Costume Discounters does have a nice sizing chart that I used to determine the size to get. I am so excited for Moose to wear this costume. I can tell that it just makes him feel like a superhero, like he's Superman (or maybe he is?). It just makes him smile and that's more than I could have asked. This isn't just a Halloween costume, it's a happy day.

Got this costume for my grandson for his 5th birthday. He jumped up and down when he opened his present and saw it was a Superman Costume. He wears it every day for at least an hour or so while he plays superman. The costume is great looking, fits him fine and it looks like it will last for a long time. I would recomend this costume to any one who is looking for a present for their son or grandson.
