Well you undo the velcro on the the back, slip into the dress and stick the velcro back on. You adjust the elmo headband by moving the elmo head into place. Then you just put on the leg warmers and you add own accessories. Its great you can wear it anywhere you want. And it looks so cute on my daughter. The bad thing is though you can not remove the belt. I would recommend this dress to anyone!
