The dress itself is a very well made stretch velvet that compliments all body types. The velvet feels more on the plush side instead of being that below standard see through material that is typical of most costumes. It does NOT come with the white gloves or a petticoat. You don't really need them unless you totally want to complete the look. However, it DOES come with a sword and a musketeer hat. The accessories are only okay for me, but they will look nice in pictures and will give the outfit a complete look.
