I bought this Pilgrim Girl Costume for my little neice who is in kindergarten. The class was to dress up in "turn of the century" clothes for a school project. When it arrived at her home, her mother said my little neice was estatic. The only alteration they had to do was cut off about six inches off the hem. My little neice was so excited about wearing it to school, she went to bed early and had it on the next morning before her parents even got up. Her mom put her hair in a bun and then the bonnet. When she arrived at school, the first place she went was the principal's office and she said "look at me!!!" She won 1st place not only for her class, but for the entire kindergarten. It makes my heart so happy when I can make a child feel so happy!!! I will definitely buy from Costume Discounters again.
I need this costume for my daughter's Colonial Day celebration at her school. This costume is easy to get on and off and looks great. She tried a few on and this was her favorite. Very comfortable and well made!
By temporary construction I just mean that it wasn't meant to withstand a lot of wear and tear. The velcro closure looks temporary. But the costume itself looks great and the overall quality was better than I anticipated!
