I am in college and was buying this costume for a costume party. I am 5'9" and dress size 2. I saw this costume online and LOVED the idea - it was the closest thing I could find to a "Chicago" style flapper dress online. I ordered it the first time in x-small. It fit well, but it wasn't long enough (it went barely past my hips). I had to return it and get it again in a small. It still was too short - I decided to just keep it and wear black spandex underneath. But it is still a very cute costume. I'd only recommend getting this online if you are shorter than me - probably around 5'5" or shorter - to make sure the length is just right!

I got another costume the first time around and it was wayyy to small so i ordered an XL and was swimming in it. I'd say this one runs pretty true to size. I cut out the see through panels on the neckline and shortened the hem a little to make it more adult and less 6th grade dance recital, I got tons of compliments though!
