This is the first of the many costumes that I am getting from here. I wanted mostly because it's velvet and also cuz it's in the Renaissance style. I love that era but dresses are well non existant. I thought this one would be cheap, uncomfortable, heavy and most of all I didn't think it would fit right. Boy was I fooled. It fit great. They definately didn't skimp on the material it's so lightweight and not heavy at all. I'm naturally hot by nature and didn't think I would be able to wear it. But I wore it for 2 hours the day I got it and it wasn't hot at all. So surprised. I also wanted this dress for if I get married someday it will be my wedding dress all I need is a black lace veil. Or I may use one of the others I'm getting. Either way the dress will be unique and not the tradional wedding dress. There is only one con about this dress and it's the sleevs are a little to long over my fingertips but nothing that can't be fixed easily. Will definately be shopping here again. I thought of maybe sewing some gold or white seed beads around the top, sleeves, hood, down the slits and so forth but unsure about that. Really doesn't need them.

True to size. Fits a 22W comfortably. Lightweight fabric but not see-through. Front has two slits, rather high, but wearing black tights would offer coverage. Unable to comment on sturdiness of fabric with washing. Suggest handwashing or gentle cycle though. Glad I made this purchase.

I bought this product to wear on Halloween. It arrived just in time and other then the fabric being thin it was a perfict fit. Be very carful when washing it, but it looks very sexy. I will wear it all throughout the year.

I have to admit, I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this, I thought the picture might be very flattering, but in fact it is very true to life. The hood is a tad big, and it fits on the smaller size (but that worked out well for me). I was very pleasantly surprised with this purchase. It can be used for various costumes, very versatile.
