Assassin’s Creed Timeline

By December 8, 2016 Lists, Printables No Comments

On December 21, Callum Lynch will be saved from his execution by Abstergo Industries and plunged into the Animus Project, where he’ll relive the memories of his ancestor, Aguilar de Nerha. Not unlike how Desmond Miles relived the memories of Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad and Ezio Auditore, Assassin’s Creed is set to follow the video game series’ footsteps and set audiences over the edge in a leap of faith.

But, with more than 10 games to its name and a feature film on the way, the Assassin’s Creed series has a ton of information to keep track of, with games releasing out of chronological order, and flashes between the memories of the past and present day events. So, Costume Discounters pieced together a timeline so you’ll know exactly when the Michael Fassbender-starred film takes place when it hits theaters.

Prepare to be plunged into the Animus alongside Callum Lynch on Dec. 21, with the release of Assassin’s Creed, the first feature-length film in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. With more than 10 video games, graphic novels, comics, and films in the series, there’s plenty of backstories to learn about the conflict between the Brotherhood of Assassins and the Templar Order.

Note: This timeline covers only events that take place within released media in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, and excludes prehistory.
