Trek Trax is considered a small convention by sci-fi convention standards but that didn’t stop last week’s attendees from loving every minute of it. Fans in Star Trek costumes were plentiful. Surprising, according to people who where there was the number of fans dressed as Klingons. There was even a Klingon wedding. Many other attendees donned costumes from the original Star Trek series. Unfortunately, there were no original cast members there to appreciate it.

The featured guest in attendance was David Orange, David Orange best known as “Sleepy Klingon” in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. Another big draw for Star Trek fans was screenwriter Michael Gendel, the winner of the Hugo Award for Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “The Inner Light,” which is a fan favorite.

Including in the scheduled festivities was a Miss Klingon Empire Beauty Pageant. Just look at some of these out-of-this-world knockouts! Makes you wish you were Klingon!

The “mother ship” of all Star Trek conventions is the Official STAR TREK Convention in
